Allow me to introduce you to Colby and his lovely family, who come from the beautiful state of South Carolina. Colby was pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Southern Wesleyan University when he experienced an unmistakable call to give his life over to Christ and accept the calling into the ministry during a Spiritual Emphasis Week in September 2018. After much soul-searching, praying, and guidance from mentors, he decided to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Christian Ministries, which he successfully obtained in May of 2021.

    Before joining Christ Wesleyan Church in Christiansburg, VA, Colby served as the Outreach and Recovery Pastor at Trinity Wesleyan Church in Clemson, SC. His unwavering passion lies in helping individuals struggling with addiction and mental illness, which he demonstrated by spearheading a Celebrate Recovery Ministry at his former church.

    In August of 2023, Colby and his wife (Taylor), along with their precious newborn son (Ezra), accepted the call to become the new lead pastor and made the decision to relocate to Christiansburg, Virginia to embark on their ministry journey at Christ Wesleyan Church. Their dedication and commitment to serving others is truly awe-inspiring, and we are excited to see all the wonderful things they will accomplish in the future.
